Oh, crap, it’s been 5 months since I last did one of these text walls that no-one reads, I wonder what could possibly prevent me from having the motivation to do them… Anywho, this particular novel is slightly shorter than the last one, so enjoy, or not, whatever.
ATTENTION – A TLDR version of this will be available in the TS3 server ‘Server News’ Channel description for those people that literally couldn’t give a shit that I bother to do this. As apparently is a thing now.

Recruiting Drive/Challenge End
After going on for a somewhat unregulated time and with some considerable success, I am drawing the recruiting challenge to a close. I am not doing this due to lack of success or lack of caring, but due to lack of funds, as I can no longer support the prizes offered for certain milestones. While I have seen many of you attempting to recruit new members for our cause, there are two individuals of note: Early in the challenge, the most notable recruiter was our Second in Command; ShreddifierR, gathering 5 or 6 recruits (not all of which have stayed); However his efforts are paled in comparison to our best recruiter, who was so good at this task as to be assigned a clan role around it: CheeseJunky, J.Ofc (Recruitment), who has recruited many people with different levels of success. Both of these valued members have been, or will receive there rewards for their efforts.
Clan Relations
As much as it pains me, I must announce that not too long ago (a month, maybe, can’t remember exactly), It was decided in a brief but polled decision to enter a pact of neutrality with BURR_. As much as this probably sent daggers through the hearts of the many ex-BURR members that were absolved into C-Tech, as it does with me; this is a necessary step towards our clans finally severing the ties that were forged (for better or worse) some time last year.
Another topic of clan relations is that of SH-EU, whose member CaptainJava (rank not withstanding) has been frequenting our server recently, who wish to form a mutually beneficial alliance with us. None of this is set in stone yet as we are yet to discuss the finer details of what will happen, and I can assure you that there will be an opinion poll closer to the time to determine you views on the situation, if you frequent the TS3 server, you will be kept up to date

October Questionnaire
I would like to thank all those that took part in the questionnaire posted last month for their cooperation towards the clan’s progression. A few people did ask me what was the point of the questionnaire: simply it was to gauge everyone’s ideas for how they think the clan should evolve, and if certain people deserve the positions they hold and the insults they receive. The results from the questionnaire can only be described as ‘more positive than I would have imagined’ (Although I am suspect of your answers regarding myself, as much as I said answer honestly), although this is with some notable exceptions. As of now, no changes will be happening as a direct result of the questionnaire, although they will influence the purge in January (yes, that bundle of fun is returning).
Project CTEC1
Some of you will already know the plans to separate our clan into two entities based on player performance, in order to reduce complaints and friction from people on both sides of the ability wall in competitive clan activities. Supporting this idea (generally, at least) was the feedback from the questionnaire, and we are very close to the number of total players I claimed would be enough for a split to happen. However, I have had a change of heart: as much as I still believe the previously stated reasons for a split to be true, experience from the fun-cup (which may or may not have happened) encouraged me to look at it from a different direction. C-Tech plays better en masse, as is seen during Tier 8 Skirmishes: as much as we don’t have the best line-up of players or machines, we do disproportionally well (even without following orders). As such I may benefit us to stay together as a larger unit for now until we can safely split leaving both sides with large numbers of players to exploit this phenomenon.
Website Clean-up
Woo! Housekeeping! As part of this update I have been trying to sort out any discrepancies in terms of information or layout of both the C-Tech website and our Wargaming clan page. This is still very much an on-going project, as there are literally years of crap that have accumulated in some places that need sorting, nevertheless I intent to get to the bottom of it. Aside from fixing the old, I also want to introduce the new, however I am all out of ideas, and wish to throw the floor open to any suggestions from you lot, as you are the reason this exists. Apart from open suggestions it would be highly appreciated to receive some high res WoT, WoWs, WT or any other notable game we play’s screenshots in order to create some new banners for the website to freshen up the look.
Tankfest 2016
I regret to tell you that, due to financial reasons, I shall not be attending this year’s Tankfest; and due to lack of interest, neither will any of the C-Tech IoM crew. As such C-Tech will not be attending Tankfest in any sort of official fashion this year, however we plan to all make it to Tankfest 2017, as Abolisher and Cheese may be able to make it for then, and if we are going to have a meet-up, we might as well do it properly.
The Long Week of the 4th (15-22/11/15)
Most of you won’t either: know about, remember, or care about the activities of CTECH during these dates last year. However they have been deemed highly important, noteworthy and celebratory for the effects they had on the clan:
The Long Week of the 4th
- A Saturday-Saturday week in which Royal C-Tech 4th Panssa Army rose from the depths of absolution, to its then greatest height, before stuttering on a shallow decline that took far too long to pull out of.
- The operational name and code word for the majority of BURR’s active players leaving BURR’s teamspeak, and WoT clan.
- 48 hours after leaving the WoT clan, many Ex-BURR members chose to join CTECH as their next clan in WoT.
- The date on which BURR ceased to exist as a WoT clan, when its commander deleted the clan.
- The Saturday on which C-Tech made their first and, though causality, biggest mistake in a line of errors to follow such a large influx of members.
History aside, as this majority of the week is in celebration, it seems fitting to have an intra-clan fun tank-based competition, which will be held in the form of any of the following: 3vs3 (T6), 2vs2 (T6/T8), 1vs1 (T6/T8/T10), with, potentially, limits on the total WN8 of players competing as a team. Further details will be sorted out and notified of on Sunday, or Monday, whatever. Please show you interest by completing this short form: http://goo.gl/forms/BWf4U2PNxC
That appears to be all I have to say for now, only 1200ish words after 5 months, I must be losing my touch. I don’t even have any great inspirational word to end this one with…
